1) What are Yahoo! Text Subscriptions?
Yahoo! Text subscriptions are monthly text based subscription services, wherein you would get predefined number of sms alerts per day, depending on the service you have subscribed to.

You can subscribe to any of the services mentioned below
3) How do I subscribe to Yahoo! Text Subscriptions?
You can subscribe to the Yahoo! text subscriptions, by sending the respective "keyword start" as given in the Table Of Services above as an sms to the Short Code 58243
Example: If you wish to subscribe for the Astro Subscription Service, please send the Keyword : JOIN ASTRO LEO to 58243
4) Will I be charged for sending the message to 58243?
Yes, the premium text message charges as applicable by your operator will be charged.
5) How do I Unsubscribe from Yahoo! Text Subscriptions?
You can unsubscribe to the Yahoo! text subscriptions, by sending the respective "Keyword End" as given in the Table Of Services above as an sms to the Short Code 58243
Example: If you wish to unsubscribe for the Astro Subscription Service, pls send the Keyword : END ASTRO LEO to 58243
6) Will my alerts stop after I end my subscription by sending the End keyword?
If you choose to unsubscribe from the Alerts Service, the Alerts Service will continue to be provided to you for the remainder of the then-current 30-day subscription period.
Example: If your alerts are valid till 1st June 2008, and you send END <service> keyword on 15th May 2008, you will continue to get alerts till 1st June 2008. However your service will not be auto renewed for the next month, you will not be charged the monthly subscription fee post 1st June 2008.
7) For how many days is my subscription valid?
Your subscription is valid for 30 days, from the date of sending the JOIN keyword. Your subscription will be auto renewed every month post that, until you END the service by sending the Keyword End to 58243, as given in the Table Of Services above.
8) After the one month subscription, will my services continue?
Yes, post the one month period, your text subscription will be auto renewed and the monthly charge for the subscription will be charged to your account.
9) Can I re subscribe to any service?
Yes, you could re subscribe at any time by sending JOIN keyword to 58243.
10) Will I be reminded before my subscription expires?
Yes, you would be reminded 48 hours before your subscription expiry date, through sms that your service will be automatically renewed. You will also receive the End Keyword for your subscription.
11) How do I renew my subscription?
Your subscription is renewed automatically after 30 days.
12) Why am I not getting alerts?
Please contact your operator customer care for this issue.
13) I have not subscribed to Text Subscriptions. Why am I billed Rs. 15 every month.
